Adeventure for younger audiences.
Narrative: protagonist and other major characters are consistently put in danger. Characters forced to use skills to overcome dangers.
Conventions:
- Often sequals, stunts/special effects.
- Settings are normally exotic locations like the desert or jungle.
- Dangerous places suggest isolation is unknown, an unfamiliar setting which builds suspence.
- Always ends happily, a resolution.
- Main characters achieve what they set out to.
- Conflict but no blood/ gore, as it is targeted at a young audience.
- Maical element/supernatural
- Music is often orchestral to combine with dramatic events in the narrative.
